Matthew Street is one of Liverpool’s most famous attractions with many bars and restaurants as well as the famous Cavern Club. Being one of the liveliest nightlife hotspots in the city, Matthew Street has some great venues for you to enjoy a quiet drink or wild night out!

The famous Matthew Street Festival is one of the UK’s biggest free annual events for outdoor music. It attracts some of the countries top bands to play and perform in the famous festival where it all began with the music from The Beatles.
The festival takes place over 3 days every year and is a magnificent attraction that brings local people together as well as tourists and bands from around the country and even the globe!
Increasing in size and attendance each year, the Matthew Street festival continues to host a free outdoor music party for anyone and everyone. In 2005 the festival expanded it’s venue with another 3 stages providing the community with live music on all 3 days.
